Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will be responsible for conducting inspections, analyzing data, and implementing quality control measures to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:00AM - 4:15 PM & Friday 7:00AM - 12:00 Noon
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure accuracy
- Conduct quality audits to assess compliance with internal procedures and FDA regulations
- Analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement in the manufacturing process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain documentation of inspection results, including non-conformance reports and quality records
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality systems and procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector or similar role
- Strong knowledge of quality inspection techniques and precision measuring instruments
- Familiarity with QA/QC methodologies and processes
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and quality standards is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
